Autobots, paint roller out! The Optimus Prime Designer Collectible Statue by artist Sket One shows an iconic Transformers hero ready to blast some color at the morally gray Decepticons. 

artist statement: 

My graffiti-inspired design reimagines the Autobots leader as a paint warrior with modified spray-nozzle blaster, paint roller staff, prime respirator, and more. The toy transforms the character from truck to train with a torso design based on the classic Redbird NYC subway trains. Covered in dripping paint, I wanted to work several fun details into the piece including spray can holders and paint trays integrated into the Transformer’s legs and the classic graffiti “throw-up” on the windows.

About the Artist: 

Sket One, painter, illustrator, and designer, began his career as a graffiti artist in the '80s. In 2003 he started designing vinyl toys for toymakers such as Kidrobot, Red Magic, IamRetro, and more. Sket One has succeeded in exhibiting his custom resin work and canvases both nationally and internationally in various galleries. Having a passion for uniting distinct components of pop culture into pieces of art that are startlingly cohesive and original has led him to work with Facebook, CBS, Universal Music, EMI, DC Comics, Ford, Toyota, Coca-Cola, Warner Bros., Zoo York Skateboards, and more.
